Received another £50 cheque just recently - thank you! I see some complaints from other participants on the site about delays in getting their money, not being offered many surveys or being abruptly "terminated" in the middle of one after having spent quite some time on it.
All I can say is that I've never experienced any significant delay in getting my £50 cheque, and while I accept that there are sometimes periods of time when I'm not offered a survey or I get "bumped" out half way through one, Populus is a business which has to respond to the instructions of its customers. So if I turn out not to be part of the demographic the customer is after, I won't get invited to participate; or if that only becomes obvious during the course of the survey, I'll inevitably be "terminated" because I'm not what they want! Not personal and no one's fault; it's just how the nature of the business.
And Populus pays better, and more straightforwardly and simply, than any of its competitors that I've come across - so much so that they're the only firm I now do surveys for.
